This is not something that's really happened to me but I have read it a few times on various forums on some of the bigger fish waters but what's your opinion on a certain click hogging the best swims? Mates all knowing when one is leaving and making sure they are there hours before so they can move into the swim giving folk outside the click no chance of getting into it.

Does this really happen?

All them times when im bang in to carping and the lakes freeze one night,clear two days later then freeze on you just after dark....then this year,i think,im not going angling this christmas time,cant remember the last time i saw boxing day at home with the family

And all the lakes this crimbo will all be ice rinks for sure and would of stopped me going anyway.....typical

Web Site Virus - WARNING

Anglers Base web site is infected with a malware virus that will download to your computer if you visit their site, just had a mate phone and tell me that his PC is now infected. I logged on to their site and up popped a warning that my PC was infected and I should download some shlte software for £50 to clean it, needless to say I instantly closed the page. Told my mate I will sort out his PC tonight for him.

He phoned Anglers Base and told them and they said

My better half bought me a joint birthday/Christmas present, my birthday was last September and I got some vouchers for a day out with some birds of prey (It has been an ambition of mine for years to have a bird of prey on my arm)

There's various packages available but she doesn't do things by halves and booked a full day!

Go back 4/5 years in your angling and think about where you are today. did you think you would be where you are now?? did you goals change, has your style of angling changed?

My anglings completly different, i went from eat ,sleep, breath my local area and all the lakes and fish that live in them, to now fishing well away from it all, it did my head in, alot of people changed, some of my mates fishing lesser and lesser, some changing as people, and then other anglers wrecking it...

Hi guys.. Im looking to get my NG's rebuilt, with full duplon handles, and new fugi rings and was wondering if anyone knew somewhere thats resonably cheap?.. I dont want to have to buy new rods, so just thought a tart up of my old much loved ones would be ideal...
I know Tom Pollard builds rods, but ive lost his number... Tom..if your reading m8... Gie me a shout...
