At the end of March it looks like i'm starting a 6 month job in Gloucester, between Over and Highnam.

Now it's quite a long way from home so I wanna stay at least a couple of nights a week and I figure it could be a good opportunity to get some fishing in.

So are there any good lakes on which I could rock up to just for the odd night session with the chance of a decent carp or 2?

im living in bath at the moment, and will be going home to fish in dorset/hampshire for the summer

next summerand the winter ill probably be staying in bath

anywhere quite with lovely surroundings would be perfect, no matter what the size of stock or fish
